«Glory» Museum
Opening ceremony of the “Glory” museum established at the Heydar Aliyev Academy of the Ministry of National Security was held on March 27, 2006 with participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander in Chief Ilham Aliyev.
The different periods of life and activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev devoted to welfare, prosperity and happy future of the Azerbaijani people are highlighted at the museum on the basis of rich archive materials, original documents and exhibits. Moreover, every period, every historical event is accompanied by Heydar Aliyev’s characteristics given in wise and edifying thoughts. Valuable expositions presented at the museum include into 3 periods: period of childhood and youth; period of service at the Azerbaijani security agencies, a leadership in Republic and activity on political Olympus of the USSR; period of activity as an architect of the independent Azerbaijan.
