Found and withdrawn another part of weapon and ammunition stolen by dangerous group

As earlier reported, the officer of military unit N of Defense Ministry of the Azerbaijan Republic, senior lieutenant Kamran Asadov entered crime with the other members of group of radical Wahhabites, and stole 4 submachine guns, 1 PK hand-grenade, 20 hand grenades, a lot of cartridges for submachine gun and ammunition and left the military unit, the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of National Security of Azerbaijan said.

As a result of carried out by the MNS of intensive operational-research actions on neutralization of this dangerous armed group, its members were detained and withdrawn from them 3 submachine guns, 6 full submachine cartridges, 1 manual machine gun and 2 cartridges, 7 manual grenades, 7 detonators and other ammunition.

As a result of the continued measures on November 11 carried out in the woody area of Ismailly region, there was found out and withdrawn 1 more submachine gun, 12 full cartridges, 11 manual grenades, 11 detonators and other ammunition.

Currently, the operational-search measures are underway to detain other member of the group Bakhityar Orujov and reveal other details. The public will be informed on further operations.
